Selfie spots galoreBy RYAH COOLEYOne of the best things about life in SLO is the abundance of hiking trails. To get everyone hitting the dirt road, the city of SLO is throwing down a social media challenge: take a selfie or group photo at specific spots at seven trails included in the #PixOnPeaks challenge and win a free hat, and, you know, exercise and stuff. Trails in the challenge include Allen K Settle at Laguna Lake Park (photo at kiosk), Terrace Hill (photo at tree growing out of the rock), Bob Jones Trail (photo at wetland kiosk in SLO), Kings Trail in Irish Hills (photo at bench), Lemon Grove Loop on Cerro San Luis (photo at lemon trees), Reservoir Canyon Loop (enter from Reservoir Canyon Road and take photo at bench), and Orange Loop in Irish Hills. When all seven photos are taken, hikers may drop by the Parks and Recreation office (1341 Nipomo St.) to show their photos and pick up a free #PixOnPeaks hat.
